Jumia emerges retailer of year 2015 EMEA Channel Academy Awards

Jumia, Nigeria’s number one online shopping mall, emerged as the winner of the retailer of the EMEA Channel Academy 2015 Awards. The EMEA Channel Academy Award is a global event that recognises organisations for their excellence.

“We are pleased to confirm that your company received Retailer of the Year Award at the EMEA Channel Academy: 2015 Awards. The EMEA Channel Academy Award recognises your company for the quality of its operation and its high standing and reputation with vendor executives,” Stuart Wilson, research/conference director, Distree Events, said in his letter addressed to Jumia Nigeria.
Taking place for the seventh year in a row, the 2015 awards event was held at Distree EMEA in Monaco with notable representatives from major brands across Europe, Middle East and Africa in attendance. It was an opportunity for the EMEA Channel to recognise excellence in the supply and delivery of technology and CE products to consumers across the region.
The EMEA awards are particularly meaningful for retailers because vendors vote for the winners. Vendors were instructed to assess retailers on the overall quality of service and their performance during the last 12 months, not just on volumes achieved. Online voting for these prestigious awards closed on Monday, February 23, and the awards event was held February 26, 2015.
Jumia emerged as the winner of the biggest award of the event: Retailer of the Year, 2015. Jonathan Doerr, managing director of marketing, Jumia Nigeria, said “the quality service Jumia constantly offers the Nigerian shopper by proudly stating that ‘Jumia will stop at nothing to gain the trust of every shopper by implementing best practice across all channels, and by gaining the loyalty of every vendor and supplier with the highest level of professionalism and strategic partnership agreements.’ Jumia is well on its way to achieving its vision of becoming the Amazon Wal-Mart of Africa.”

  1. It is no longer news that the Acquired immune deficiency syndrome /Human Immune Virus (HIV/AIDS) is increasing by the day. The fear is that many people living with the sickness are scared of saying it because of the stigma that comes along with it.I am bold enough among many others to state that there is now a potent cure to this sickness but many are unaware of it. I discovered that I was infected with the virus 8months ago, after a medical check-up. My doctor told me and I was shocked, confused and felt like my world has crumbled. I was dying slowly due the announcement of my medical practitioner but he assured me that I could lead a normal life if I took my medications (as there was no medically known cure to HIV). I went from churches to churches but soon found that my case needed urgent attention as I was growing lean due to fear of dying anytime soon. In a bid to looking for a lasting solution to my predicament, I sought for solutions from the voodoo world. I went online and searched for every powerful trado-medical practitioner that I could severe, cos I heard that the African Voodoo Priests had a cure to the HIV syndrome. It was after a little time surfing the web that I came across one DR NICE (A powerful African doctor), ( drniceharbelhealinghome@gmail.com ) who offered to help me at a monetary fee. I had to comply as this was my final bus-stop to receiving a perfect healing. My last resolve was to take my life by myself, should this plan fail. Alas! it worked out well. He gave my some steps to follow and I meticulously carried out all his instructions.
Last time 13 Jan, 2015, to be precise, I went back to the hospital to conduct another test and to my amazement, the results showed that ” I am NEGATIVE”.
You can free yourself of this HIV virus by consulting this great African Voodoo Priest via this e-mail: ( drniceharbelhealinghome@gmail.com ) He will help you honestly.
