Begovic pleased with Odemwingie return

Odemwingie returns after eight-month injury lay off
Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has praised the return of Peter Odemwingie to the Potters lineup after coming out of a long term injury lay off.
The Nigerian forward made a second half substitute appearance for Stoke in their 1-1 draw against Sunderland at the Britannia Stadium.
According to the Bosnian, Odemwingie’s return could mark a sign of positive things to come for him and the club after spending eight months on the sideline.
"It was a brilliant moment and we're all very pleased for Peter. He's a great person to have around and he's been so positive and worked so hard at his recovery,” Begovic told Stokesentinel.
"Hopefully this marks a turning-point for him and he can get back into the team and play football regularly.
"You can't have too many players like him, so it's a positive to take into the game for next week knowing we can call on him,” he concluded.
The 34-year-old player is expected to play a big role for ninth placed Stoke City in their next English Premier League game away to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on May 2, 2015.
