Nape Phasha stars on Vuzu's 'Rich Kids' reality show.

From the almost famous in the form of an ex 'Idol's contestant, to two business-minded brothers, Vuzu TV's 'Rich Kids' will chronicle just how extravagantly South Africa's other half lives.

It's been touted as a unique show set to display the wealthy lifestyles of the uber rich's sprogs. It has even been marketed as a show exclusive to DSTV's Vuzu Amp platform, which is accessible only on DSTV premium.
On Wednesday, Vuzu TV introduced five cast members of their new show, Rich Kids to debut this evening at 7pm. The five, whose full names cannot be disclosed, are made up of Olivia, an Idolscontestant who made it to the top 16 last year and is still studying for her matric, serial party goers Bob, Don, Alekssandro  and Nape, who has an eye for extravagant watches.
After the first five cast members of the show were revealed, there were mixed reviews on social media. Themba Matevula decried the use of the word rich, saying the kids had not accumulated their own wealth.
"They are just #urbanskotanes spoilt kids who are showing off their parents's assets. A rich kid is someone who accumulated wealth on their own at an early age." While Veronica Mere said she was inspired by how business-minded and focused some of the cast were.

The ten part series will focus on each cast member's life, following them around as they do their daily errands and showcasing their lifestyles.
Viewers have been privy to interesting details already. Nape, whose episode is the first to be shown, will display his family's luxurious home and costly cars ranging from several Mercedes Benz vehicles as well as a G wagon, Porsche and F-type Jaguar.

Viewers will also see Nape shopping for a watch, with him finally settling on a R60,000 Tag Heur time piece. During the interview with Vuzu, Nape, a law student said it wasn't about the price but more about the gesture - it was a gift for his 21st birthday.
Fellow rich kid,Alekssandro revealed that he has a driver and will never drive himself around until he buys his dream cars - a Bugatti or Lamborghini. Alekssandro's reasoning is that he believes in the power of attraction and the only steering wheel he should touch are of those cars.
Bob and Don brothers reside in an upmarket Pretoria suburb. The two both drive Mercedes Benz A45 AMGs and sport personalised number plates. At their home stead, you will find about 30 luxury cars, most of them German. They share a love of designer clothes and expensive cars and have expressed interest to become entrepreneurs.

Kitted in a pair of Giuseppe Zanottis, the 17-year old Olivia may be the youngest on the show. She tried her luck on Idols last year, reaching the top 16.
The Pretoria based matriculant is probably the most humble of the lot. She told Vuzu that the show was not just about how rich they are but rather how rich they were in "health and happiness."
Cloud enjoys regular holidays and parties with the entertainment industry's elite.
