Hugo Lloris has hinted he’s got a verbal agreement to leave Tottenham if they right offer comes in.
The French goalkeeper has been linked with a move to Manchester United as a replacement for David De Gea, who has been linked with Real Madrid.
De Gea is out of contract next summer and is yet to sign an extension. And asked this week to clarify his future, the 24-year-old refused to rule out a move to the Bernabeu.
Louis van Gaal has admitted there are contingency plans in place if De Gea decides to leave.
And Lloris has suggested he has a verbal agreement with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to leave White Hart Lane for the right offer.
Asked whether there was a £20m release clause in his Spurs contract, the 28-year-old said: “This does not correspond to reality. There is no clause.
“When you have the privilege to talk directly with your President, as I did with Daniel Levy, it makes things much simpler.
“I know what we said, and it’s a relationship of trust.”
