Real Madrid
- 13K. Navas Not a single save to make. A mere spectator.
- 3Pepe Did not often have many challenges but went about his business with a cool head.
- 4Sergio Ramos Aggressive in the challenge, which was successful in unsettling the Levante attackers.
- 15Daniel Carvajal His bursts down the right were crucial, and one such run played a role in one of Madrid's goals.
- 12Marcelo Practically a winger based on how high he was camped up the flank. Always reliable to provide a decent ball from out wide.
- 16Lucas Silva A comfortable outing for him as he showed a good understanding with Modric and Isco.
- 19L. Modrić The Croatian was a little late in one or two tackles but otherwise looks well on his way to his old self.
- 11G. Bale The Welshman was the hero, as he struck twice in the first half to put his side into an unassailable lead.
- 23Isco Efficient passing, but didn't look to take on the defence much in a deeper role.
- 9K. Benzema Nearly scored an all-time cheeky goal with an effortless flick from a cross that rebounded off the woodwork.
- 7Cristiano Ronaldo Just wasn't his night. A few chances went begging and Bale inadvertently stole a goal from him. The frustration showed in his body language.
Levante
- 13Diego Mariño Some athletic saves, but he pushed one or two efforts back into the danger area.
- 3Toño The left-back was occasionally lost positionally in the first half.
- 2Iván Came up with a few important challenges out wide to halt Ronaldo.
- 4David Navarro Won most things in the air and generally marked Benzema well.
- 14Ramis Made a crucial headed clearance off the line that still couldn't prevent the opening goal.
- 17Xumetra Apart from a cross to set up Uche's header, he was anonymous.
- 24Simão Junior The midfielder couldn't keep hold of the ball and succumbed when pressed.
- 26Víctor Camarasa The midfielder at least tried to make things happen on the ball, and put in a solid defensive shift as well.
- 7David Barral One or two decent build-ups with his back to goal, but was otherwise isolated.
- 5K. Uche Steered a header off target and ran down a lot of blind alleys.
- 11José Luis Morales Substituted after an ineffective showing on the wing.
