A group, Movement for Good Governance, has called on the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party to call the Director of Media and Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, to order over his recent comments.
The group’s chairman in Borno State, Alhaji Babagana Wulgo, made the call in a statement on Thursday.
The group said Nigerians should learn from history and stop Fani-Kayode before he turns the country upside down with “his manipulations and and outright lies.”
It said, “We are not surprised about Fani-Kayode’s tissue of lies. He cannot truncate this democratic process because he and the President are afraid of defeat in the forthcoming elections”
The group also warned Fani-Kayode to desist from his lying against Borno State Governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, whom it described as a man of integrity that has delivered the dividends of democracy to the people despite the security challenges.
