Nigerian Professor Dies In Saudi Arabia Stampede

A Nigerian pilgrim has been named 

among the over 717 people that died

 in the stampede today at the ongoing

 holy pilgrimage in Mecca.

According to twitter handle 

@mysanda, Prof. Tijjani El-Miskeen, 

an indigene of Borno state and an 

illustrious son of the state died in the 

stampede. The deceased was a  

Professor of Islamic Studies at the 

University of Maiduguri.

May his soul rest in peace.
